One Night Only!
"Shh... The Grown Ups are Talking"
Jackalope's first late night event is February 3rd at the awesome Stage 773. You send in the stories, and our expert word-sayers tell them to an audience of dreamboats and drunks (all of our fans are at least one or the other). The writers remain anonymous, so expect to hear freedom from the writer, and unabashed judgment from the reader. J/K, y'all. See you Feb 3, come try to guess which of your friends is spilling their guts. Love, Jackalope

“5… 13… 9… 4… 7… 10… 6… ... ... repeating…” The voice is mechanical but not devoid of feeling. Sure that he can detect emotion underlying the infinite strings of seemingly random numbers, one man isolates with his short wave radio determined that he can decode this Number Station. If he must single handedly uncover spy rings, drug trafficking, and government conspiracies to find the find the face that belongs to the voice, he is not afraid to do so. Devotion to his singular mission relieves him of the drudgery of his daily life, and he begins to investigate an underworld that relies solely on code to communicate. When he gets too close to a real answer, he is confronted with two options: He can risk discovering the truth and lose everything, or be content to live in the question where nothing is ever certain but everything is possible.
