Felipe Briceno, Ike Holter, Chelsea Marcantel, Tonika Todorova, Anthony
Werner, and Calamity West
In homage to the Living Newspapers of the Federal Theatre
Project, Jackalope has assembled an exciting group of Chicago playwrights,
directors, and actors to dramatize current stories from our nation’s newspapers.
Presented for a One-Weekend limited engagement at the Viaduct Theatre,
3111 N. Western Ave, the show will run July 28th
– 31st
on Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 7pm, and on Sunday at 3pm. Tickets cost $15 ($10 for Students & Industry).

for her senior project, documenting the reactions of her classmates.
SUNDAY NIGHT by Anthony Werner, directed by George Lyons
The Article: The night Osama Bin Laden was killed, America took the streets in
celebration. In the following days, some questioned the avid fervor of the
reaction.
THE ISLAND OF YAP by Calamity West, directed by Brea Hayes
The Article: A fund to build a statue of Robocop in Detroit raised over $67,000.
Many are thrilled, but others wish the money could be better spent.
